Prof. B.K. Chandrashekar served as Professor of Law at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore until 1997. He was the UGC Visiting Professor at National Law School of India University, Bangalore until 1999. Previously, he was Lecturer, Faculty of Law at the University of Belfast, N. Ireland and a faculty member at International Management and Workers Training Program, ILO Geneva. He is former Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council. He also served the Government of Karnataka for several years as Minister of State holding the portfolios of Information Technology and Bio-Technology and Primary and Secondary Education.
